A Super March

In like a lion, out like a lamb? More like in like Hulk and Captain America, out like Spidey, Cyborg, Flash, Iron Man, and on and on and on. Super heroes still rule our world. We love The Inredibles movie, we get books from the library with titles like Reptile Rumble, and we are pretty much obsessed with these teeny tiny "Justice League" figures that we get a Target and collect, and lose, and then find under the couch, and then fight over, and then lose again, and then fight over them some more. Despite that vicious cycle, this stage is very, very fun.  Seeing the boys battling robots together and turning everything from fire hydrants to Gordo the bear into bad guys and everything from sticks to bead necklaces into fighting/defense tools is really fun.  Even Maggie gets in the mix. She alternates between being Super Girl and Jack Jack and her specialty is knocking down towering buildings and then eating the "bricks."  Mom and Dad get stuck making up super hero stories "Super Girl rescues the Denver Zoo from Seaweed Man!," "Spider Man saves Mile High from the Green Goblin!" to retelling the Incredibles movie over and over. "Talk about the Incredibles may be Declan's most (over)used phrase.  Good times!

The Hulk isn't the only one who dresses up around here. Cap means business!

Just because we save the world doesn't mean we can't bust out for dance parties.
Dad and his supers.

Spidey scales the fence at the tennis courts!
Hulk provides ground cover.
Super Girl spies an enemy plane!
They're just like us!  Super heroes enjoy the zoo too.
Especially polar bear pool time!
First time on the carousel.
And getting into it!
Notice Hulk is cooperative for pictures now?
Taller than a fairy penguin!
We can get donned for a princess party too!  Our princess and two prince charmings.
Attempting to look like the fireball version of Jack Jack.
Going all out. Even doing the hair.
