11 Months!

Maggie turned 11 months at the end of February, and I'm glad this post is a little late because she started walking about a week afterwards!  We call it her great burst of gross motor skills. In the matter of a few days, she started walking, crawled up the stairs, and finally learned to roll over off her back.  We used to call her the turtle because if she was on her back she was stuck.  About a week prior she had been throwing up from doing a massive sit up upon waking up in the mornings.  Her steps were tentative at first, but now she is on the move.  Our little baby is on her way to becoming a toddler!  She's also grown some hair in the past few weeks, and is on her way to a sweet kind-of curly mullet. She still does a lot of grunting, with the occasional "ball," and "book," and she's signing up a storm and mimicking the intonations in our voices when we say things like "thank you." My favorites might be that she still says "ahhhh" every single time she takes a drink, and that when "Party in the USA" (one of DJ Liam's favorites) comes on, she puts her hands up and raises the roof.  OK, that's definitely my favorite.

This month is a story in videos...

Exactly 11 months. Can't quite cut it.

Getting closer...
Maggs knows that squats are an essential exercise for any early walker.

And we're walking!
Cruising on a trampoline at gymnastics!
