Seattle Trip!

We had a great trip to Seattle to visit Uncle Andy, Aunt Rebekkah, and cousins Jack and Ruby. We had so much fun playing in their great yard, exploring their neighborhood, checking out an exhibit Andy made, taking in sunsets on the Sound, swimming in our hotel pool, hitting up the Ballard market, and playing on the beach!  Thanks to the Seattle Maddens for hosting us for a fun-filled weekend! We love you!

We had two great flights, thanks to a well-behaved Liam and meds for our sick Declan. We returned home to find out that he had a respiratory infection, ear infection, and pink eye. Poor guy, but he was a trooper.
Ready to go!
Thankfully for everyone, Dec only wanted to snooze or read books.
But these two were feeling silly!

We made it! We took in a Ballard sunset with a view of the Sound on our first night.
Gorgeous!
The whole crew! Do you think Ruby is a ham?

On Saturday, we took a trip to the Gates Foundation's Visitor Center, build by the one and only...Uncle Andy! It was absolutely astonishing - informative, beautifully constructed, and fun for all ages. :) So impressive!

We're all famous - see Jack peeking up from the bottom!
 Space needle!
Rebekkah and Jack hanging during a snack break.
 Back at the homestead...
Liam loved the tire swing, and the tree house.
Snack time for the big kids.
Off to the beach for lots of digging, castle-making, and fun!

Trying to get a group shot. Dec is kind of done.
 But we got one!
 Oldest and youngest cousins.
Dec is king of the castle.
3 dirty rascals (Liam learned this ditty and loved repeating it with his cousins).
 Another beautiful sunset!

 Goofballs.
Story time (note someone is ready to hit the pool).
