Happy Father's Day to Daddy, Big V, Grandpa, Uncle Scott, Uncle Andy, all of my uncles, and all of our friends! Liam and Declan, their cousins and friends are so lucky to have such great dads! We thought an appropriate blog post for our Dad would be a sports, sports, sports! theme.
We took in our first Rockies game of the season a week ago. The boys were decked in their gear and had a great time!
Declan's first game!

This is Liam's new face when we ask him to "say cheese!"

Dad and his Rockies fans.

The whole family.

Posing outside of Coors Field.

On Father's Day eve, we went to our first Rapids game of the season. Liam, who knows players like Conor Casey (and that he is bald), the Ginger Ninja (his favorite player), and Paaabbblllooo was VERY excited for this outing, especially because Uncle Doc and cousin Kevin where there to play soccer with him before the game. Once the action started, we heard lots of screams of Go Rapids! Score goals! Play defense! Corner kick! and our favorite Put it in the back of the net, Conor! from our soccer-obsessed son.
The boys are ready. Liam likes to point out that Declan does not have a jersey.

Dec's first game! People loved to point at him and say "Rapids baby!"

Daddy is in heaven.

Liam saw this picture and said "I was watching the game." This is true. He would not stop watching to look at the camera. What 2 year-old can watch 90 minutes of soccer?

He convinces Daddy that he better watch the game too.

Happy Father's Day!
