The elk were keeping a close eye on Maycomb, who after showing some initial interest mainly ignored them while keeping an eye out for a much more exciting animal in her eyes - squirrels.
We saw around 15 elk. Some were standing and some were lying down, but all of them were constantly chewing, kind of like me these days!
This is as close as dad would let me get to the elk, and he doesn't look too sure about it.
I like this Santa guy! I tried to pull his beard.
I liked sitting on Santa's lap and making faces at Mrs. Claus.
