July 4 on the Frying Pan

We spent July 4th with a fun crew in a place we had never been before. Our friend Rollie hosted us in a cabin right off the Frying Pan river. We drove 30 miles on a dirt road to get there. It was close to Basalt, CO, but we never went into town. There was so much to do and explore.

We started with a beautiful hike to Eagle Lake.

Then returned and feasted!

We hit up another lake on the actual 4th.

We took turns on the 4x4, which was so fun!

Here's the 11-year old, driving his mother. He was in heaven.

Happy birthday, America!
