Fall Break

We had a jam-packed Fall Break in Chicago. We stayed with Aunt Kathy and Uncle Jack and they were wonderful tour guides. What a great city and what great company!!
Dad beat us to Chi-town.

We spent out first morning at the Shedd Aquarium.

Dolphins + seal lions + first row = Maggie heaven.
Why does no one care about the beluga whales as much as I do?!?!
Photo time...

And now on to the Field Museum...

The kids went home with Kathy and Jack, John and I changed in the aquarium bathroom!, and now we're ready for a ...DATE NIGHT!!!

And the highlight of the night... Hamilton. I am still obsessed.

Meanwhile, things are all good on the home front.

We hit up Science and Industry the next day, which we loved.. especially the U-505 submarine.

We have zero pictures of our children's highlight of all of the things we did in Chicago, Maggie Daley playground. A great playground, but yes, a playground. Highlight. Of. The. Trip. Also, free.
So, onto the Bean!

Only 2 out of 3 were feeling the Bean.

Next? Sears Tower Skydeck! Or whatever they call it now. No, we did not wait in the long line to go on the glass ledge.

Back on the home front, we teach Jack about Usagi!
And make new friends!
On our final day, we met up with the Godleys for the architectural tour, aka a boat ride with hot chocolate. Adults, loved it. Kids, were on a boat. Cool enough for all.

And some videos...
