We have no pictures to document it, but we survived the road trip from Cambridge, MD to Hilton Head! Highlights were the tunnel/bridge under/over the Chesapeake, yelling "Move it, granny!" to cars driving too slow, fast food and gas station treats, and the many toy surprises that I kept pulling out of my bag that kept us occupied. Then we arrived for a wonderful week with Nana and Big V in Hilton Head. We packed in all of our usual fun - kayaking, fishing, golf, wildlife sighting, and beach, beach, beach! Thanks Nana and Big V, we love visiting you!
Cloud day, don't care. We're at the beach!
We found some sun!
Starfish
Dolphin close by on South Beach!
The kids will remember this as the night Nana had them trespass and jump a fence to get back to the Salty Dog. :)
Fishing time.
Learning from the master.
Some of us use paddles as weapons.
We love Nana and Big V!
Kayaking time. Nana and Maggie.
Double trouble.
Mom and Liam.
While the oldest golfs, the littles play.
This guys loves his animal treasures, in this case, crabs.
Beach sports with Dad...
... and Mom.
This kid beat his mom and dad!
Big V is not so psyched to take this picture.
But he's happier here...
... and happy to be headed off on some mission...
... but especially happiest about his tiny spoon!
Nana and her boys.
There's a gator! Missing: the 100 pictures the kids took on their disposable cameras at the Coastal Discovery museum.
We even wrestle on the beach.
The annual family beach photo. We love our hats!
And I love a beach wedgie on this girl.
One last rag top ride with Nana!
