It's hard to believe that we have been parents for 7 years, but here we are. Liam is 7! Our boy was born a sports nut and that hasn't changed. He practices soccer, basketball, and baseball by himself all of the time. When they don't have balls at recess, he and his friends play "pine cone football, soccer, etc." He is incredulous that some friends would rather play on the playground than play pine cone sports with him. He had a great 1st grade year. He loves math and likes reading. Judy Moody and Magic Tree House are favorites. We're so proud to hear that he is a leader in his class and is known to look our for, help, and be a protector of the special needs kids in his class. Beware of crossing our L Dudds - he has a long reputation for tackles. ;) He is buds with both Declan and Maggie, although not always at the same time. We're so lucky to have such a great kid as our guinea pig. :) Happy birthday, Liam. We love you!
We celebrated on the actual day with the Martins.

Then we hosted our first sleepover with Dean, Tyler, and Bodhi. They are all such nice boys - it was a blast.
