Mexico!

We went to Mexico! Without kids! For a week! It was amazing.

And couldn't have been possible without lots of help. Babcia, Grandpa, and our nanny Rachel took wonderful care of the kids while we were gone. They were in such great hands. We feel so lucky that we were able to take advantage of a free trip from my work to celebrate our 10th anniversary. We stayed at a resort on the Riviera Maya and then ventured south to Akumel, Tulum, and Sian Ka'an, north to Play del Carmen, and West to Coba. It was a fabulous trip. We're feeling so lucky and grateful for everyone who helped make it happen.

We made it! Looking a little pale and tired.
 And then we promptly... bowled!
Because what else were we going to do on a random night at a resort.
 First day hitting the beach!
 Now we're in vacation mode!
So our resort was a bit ummmm...cheesy. Not quite our thing, but free is free!
It had great views, swim up bars, and obviously bowling (and miniature golf - don't worry, we did that too).
But was really into ridiculous statues. Post workout pic with jaguar.
Post 40 beers pic with jaguar.
And the tight buttocks of the lion/dragon/man statue.
Lots of iguanas!
 And fish!
The water was gorgeous. We swam with sea turtles, sting rays, and fish right off our beach.

But, we were also ready to hit the road and get the hell out of the resort. Hola, Logan!
First stop, the ruins in Coba!

 Sweet pose.

Also sweet rainbow mirror sunglasses. Lost my original pair in the ocean so had to pick up some Panama Jacks,
We made it to the top!

Johnny sweated his way through Mexico.
But looks cool riding his bike among ancient ruins.

More to come!
