Mexico, Cont.

Mexico, part dos. Logan sets us free! After biking around Coba we ate some legit Mexican food and then hit three cenotes in the area. All three were underground. The fresh water was cold but refreshing and going deep underground was a little unnerving but fun. We took the plunge in all three, but the biggest was off a 15 meter ledge. So fun!

I swear it's a farther jump than this looks, and the deck really was that slippery.

Post-cenotes, we checked out Akumel beach. More swimming with sea turtles!

Hola, Logan! The next day we drove south to the Sian Ka'an biosphere reserve. It is huge, and beautiful, and we could have spent days there. We only saw a fraction of it, but what we saw was gorgeous.

We basically drove through the jungle and found our own private beach!

One the way home from Sian Ka'an, we stopped in Tulum and found a beach club called Ziggy's. Don't worry, you'll see Ziggy's again soon.

Oh, and we had to leave this amazing place to go to a bar to watch the Champion's League semi-final. Trying to relive our World Cup honeymoon, apparently. At least we got to try a local craft beer. Gracias, Mateo's!

We hit one more beach before heading home, Playa Xcaral, and jumped in one more cenote, this one above ground. This was the only day it rained.
 This guy didn't mind!
Hola, Logan! Our final day with Logan took us to the Tulum ruins and then back to Ziggy's for the majority of the day.

Did we mention the tequila shrimp tacos? We might go back just for those.
Not a bad view from my lounge chair.
John prefers the standing reading move.
We spent our fifth full day hanging at the resort beach, but headed to Playa del Carmen for dinner.

The jumps in action.
