Dunes!

We had a wonderful time camping in the Sand Dunes. It is one of our favorite places in Colorado.  John has such fond memories of going there as a boy and he was excited to share it with the Liam, Declan, and Maggie.  It was our first time camping with the kids, and they did great and we had a blast. We went with another family from our neighborhood, so we split meals, went on adventures together, and stayed up around the campfire. Squirt guns and smores were a big hit for the boys, and Maggie was so excited to keep up with everyone. She wanted to bomb down the dunes like her brothers, and she was elated when she woke up every morning to have everyone sleeping in her "room." She would yell all of our names from her pack-n-play, and then once one of us got her out, she would climb all over all of us. All around, a great trip!

This is how a Jedi sleeps.  Although I'm not sure Jedis get sick and throw up in the car, which is what happened to this guy shortly after this picture was taken. Good start to the trip, good start.
