So Long, 2013

2013 was a year of many changes for the Maddens! New baby, new job(s) for Colleen, new sister-in-law and aunt!  It also marked our last year without a child in elementary school. Yikes.  It has been so fun to watch all three children grow and change and watch their relationships with each other evolve. We can't wait to see what 2014 brings!

The boys had a very fun Dad and the boys day. They went to all of the places that we see from I-25 and talk about, but have never visited.  They also managed to stop for donuts for themselves and flowers for their mom and sister - one bouquet each. So sweet.
First stop: Bumblebee Hill. Apparently it was windy? All I heard about was that it was covered in goose poop.
Second stop: the silver dog. Getting to see this up close was huge. We always look for it on the highway.
Humane Society of Denver
Best part? It's made of thousands of dog tags.

Third stop: the water tower.
Hmmm. Maybe not as exciting as the dog.
Boys day selfie.

More selfies.  Mom and Dad had a date night thanks to Babcia and Grandpa taking the kids for an overnight!
Have another.
Eagles fan.

The Martins joined us for a chill New Year's Eve.  We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Baby Martin #3!
Who has on a sparkly party dress?

The littles, as in little brothers. Soon to both be middles.
The bigs.

Happy New Year!
