December

December felt so fast and short! We packed it with lots of fun activities!

Our crawler!  Maggie started crawling a week after we returned from Allentown. Watch out, boys!

"Me icing my knee like Big V. I have staples in it. Don't touch it."  Later he was using the soccer goal as a walker.
 Gingerbread train time!

 Time to trim the tree!
Maggie loved the lights.
She also liked to eat them.
 But she prefers bacon.
A Santa/Rudolph.

 A wrestling-ready turkey.
 My assistants.
 A visit to Santa...
"I would like football guys, hockey guys, lacrosse guys, racing guys, and strawberry cake batter, please."
 Our growing 4-year-old looking sweet.

Maggs - not so sure about Santa.
Dec and Maggs - definitely not fans of Santa.
Play date with her second cousins, Nina and Evie!
Babcia really wanted a recent family picture of us for her Christmas card. This is what happens when we force Declan to take a picture.
 Hope Christmas concert!
Liam did a GREAT job!  He is in the second row, fourth from the right, silver halo.

Our letters to Santa! Liam wrote his all by himself.  Dec dictated.
 Happy 5th birthday, Tommy!

Making salt dough ornaments.

We gave Maggie finger paint.  Like everything else, she ate it.
 And didn't like it.

But she does like going on walks with her Dad!
Dec, while not interested in going on the potty, is interested in trying out undies to see if they are more comfortable than his diaper.

He sure can run fast!
Decorating cookies. Please ignore the yelling, finger-pointing toddler.
We co-hosted a caroling party in our neighborhood. It was so fun! About 50 people joined us. Our house was the pit stop - cookies and drink refreshments.  We had so much fun but were too busy to take any pictures, except this one of our little reindeer.
The following night we had another caroling party at the Godley's. We Maddens must love to sing.  The kids did a great job - Jingle Bells was a favorite - and then they returned home to decorate cookies. So much fun!

Goofballs.
Maggie doesn't mind (or doesn't notice) the headbands.
 Liam as Rudolph.
Classic snapshot of our children.  One singing his heart out. The other using a flashlight because he has to "fix something" on a stranger's porch.

Who has had too much sugar?
Declan - aka the Marshmallow Monster. When all of the other kids go downstairs to play, the Marshmallow Monster strikes.

Some videos...
Our crawler! We called her the inchworm in her early crawling days. She did a lot of downward dog, inch forward, repeat.

Our angel! :)
