Turkeys at the Beach

We took lots of pictures of our Hilton Head trip so we might as well post them. Here's some more shots of our three little turkeys having fun on the beach...

Sammy loved the foam!
Check out those turkey legs!
Declan loves Nana!
Bribing with food gets them all looking in the same direction.
Sam in the sand.
Flying high.
He loves it!
The crew.
Dec is apparently the star of this beach day.
Evidence of sand eating.
Another way to get the three turkeys in one picture - strap them down!
Two different feelings about this fish. Liam liked touching them at first, but then wasn't so crazy about it. Sammy is all smiles.
Hanging with Nana, with her kayak in the background!
Nana saves Liam from the stone crabs. He did not like those big pinchers.
Although this picture doesn't quite depict it, Liam is in awe of Uncle Scott and his guitar. He goes around yelling "Jam, jam, jam. Jam like Uncle Scott!"
Another day, another trip to the beach.
Where Liam ran,
and dribbled,
and kicked,
and ran and kicked some more. He was in heaven.
More running with Daddy,
and soccer with Nana!
Sammy and Katie stick to digging and castles.
Dec 'em and wreck 'em sticks to crawling and eating sand.
A break from soccer!
Does Dec like baby food? No! But he sure does like eating that sand!
Pants off, ready to play.
The Maddens

And now... the moment we've all been waiting for, the Santa shots.
Dec did OK when he was by himself.
But all of that waiting up there for his brother and cousin made him mad.
Katie calls them pissed, salty, and chubby. You could also say terrified, bribed by candy canes, and distracted by the bright shiny objects on the tree. Liam did manage to stay up there long enough to request a volleyball (only ball he doesn't own), dinosaurs (because they're awesome), and a ladder (for when he "hits baseballs on the roof") from Santa.
Highlight of our trip to South Beach? Seeing Gaffney and her crew. Kate and husband Johnny and boys Tad and Jack plus cousins were also visiting Santa and having the beers at the Salty Dog. Screw the mall. This is the way to do it! So fun to see them!
