Overland admin channeling the Beatles.
A chilly final ride to school.
Flood! What a night this was. John and I were having dinner at Aunt Kathy and Uncle Jack's. Liam was babysitting when the water heater flooded. He turned off the water to the house and the kids managed to use every towel and tiny washcloth in the house to soak up the mess. We spent the night hauling water and wringing out said towels, but the basement was saved and one hot water heater later, all is good!
We officially went to remote learning a couple of weeks before Thanksgiving.
The Weinstein's annual fundraiser was virtual this year, but we still had fun!
Stuffed animals are my hell, but clearly not Maggie's!
I was working Thanksgiving week, so Babcia and Dad took the kids hiking at Waterton Canyon.
On another day, they did a slushie tasting experiment. This included a visit to 4 different slush/milkshake spots, a grading rubric, a visit to my work to bring us our very own slushies and grading sheets, and lots of sugar!
We had a quiet but fun Thanksgiving dinner with Babcia and Grandpa.
The day after Thanksgiving, we took a bike ride downtown, and then took the light rail home! 18 miles, cold hands for those of us that didn't bring gloves, snacks, hot chocolate at my work, and one bad spill on the ice for Maggie, Declan, and I. It was an adventure!
