Technically It's Still Summer

So we're still having fun!
L had a soccer tournament in Fort Collins, so we made a weekend out of it.
We love a hotel pool!

Turning lemons into lemonade. Our light rail train got stuck on the way to see our neighbor David perform. We missed the show, but took a detour and hung at DU by our beloved golden steeple, got breakfast for dinner at a DU deli, and took the Littles' first Uber. Golden steeple for the win!
We hosted the crew at our pool for our annual celebration of the kindies, Maggie and Drew!

Walking in the woods. Not a bad way to start the day when you're in the mountains for a conference.
Starting Labor Day weekend with a Roka Hueka show with cousin Cal!
 When the Cal pal attacks.
We love seeing Uncle Daniel on stage!

 Recital dress. Gold chucks. Style.
Taking that style to learn how to ride a bike.
We had our high and low moments.
On the other hand, this kid has become a biking machine!
We biked to get my pedal fixed, ran a quick errands at Sprouts, and then this guy said "how about we do lunch?" How could I say no?

 It was a biking weekend!
Liam slept over at Tyler's and they did a bike excursion to the reservoir.
We rounded out Labor Day with a barbecue at Ritka and John's. Mesmerized by...
...caterpillars! Technically a tomato hornworm.
Don't worry - we took two of them home as pets, Benji and Louis (named after the dogs). News flash: they are already dead. Turns out that you need to remember that you have pets, even when school is in session.
Still rocking the chucks.
 Celebrating Calvin's birthday.
 1!
Rollin, rollin, rollin
