Maggie and I took a girls' trip to visit Nana and Big V. It was so great to see both of them, check in, and get a little R&R while we were there. Big V has made exponential progress since I last saw him in a hospital in Charleston. It was pure joy to see both of my parents in their home. We were active with Nana - kayaking, swimming, playground hopping - and we got to go on walks and have chill time with Big V. We had a fun night out to dinner at Long Cove, and we met Aunt Kathy, Aunt Diane, and Uncle Lew for lunch in Bluffton on our way out and their way in. It was a great trip!
Strutting her stuff.
Hunting gators with Nana.
We saw a very big gator on our first day!
Riding in style!
It was a little chilly and windy for the beach, but not too cold for the pool!
Maggie loves this tree.
But she loves Nana more!
And Big V! It was so great to see him back at home and on the move.
We love you, Nana and Big V!
Meanwhile, on the boys' weekend...
