Declan is 7! We love our sensitive, funny D. He certainly knows what he likes, and is equally clear on what he doesn't like. He likes, no loves, his best friend Nicolas, Pokemon, his dog Rosie, and his family, the beach, swimming, and did we say Pokemon? He does not like sports (playing sports, watching sports, talking about sports), or being surprised by changes in the plan. He has really blossomed academically this year, and we love his curiosity. He always asks questions when we're reading books about what's going on or vocabulary words he doesn't know, etc. and he always makes this cute little cocked eyebrow face when doing so. The giant squid is in its second year running as his favorite animal, his favorite color is red, and his favorite song is Despacito. Happy birthday, Declan! We love you!
He started the day with some oatmeal, cake pops, and Pokemon swag.
And hit up Parry's for dinner and presents (a fit bit and Pokemon figures, obviously).
And finished the night with...you guessed it...Pokemon cupcakes!
He loved his figures from Nana and Big V! And we love finding them all over our house! ;)
