Hilton Head!

We had an amazing week in Hilton Head with Nana and Big V over our Fall Break. The kids each sent Nana and Big V lists of everything they wanted to do, and boy, did we fit it all in, and then some! It was go, go, go, and we had a blast.

Getting right to work!

Go swimming in the ocean. Check.

Play on the beach. Check.

BYO costumes! We got to have two Halloweens this year, starting with Spooktacular at Long Cove...aka golf cart trick-or-treating. Amazing for kids and adults alike.

Capped off by jumpy castles and dancing? What an amazing night!

Of course Liam still spent a half hour in the water.

Date night for mom and dad. Check. May not have made the kids's list, but it made ours! As did a very fun night out with Nana and Big V. Why not top off the night at the B.O.P.

We made the best of a rainy day by hitting a bounce house joint and tracking geckos in the screen porch.

Biking. Check.

Kayaking. Check.

Seeing dolphins was not on the list, but we got to see two on the kayaking trip. That's all Maggs talked about when we got home. Their names were Dorothy and Donald.

Nana had to pull the heaviest weight. Go Nana!

After a day of rain, we were ready for some serious beach time.

And seeing old friends, Sheila! I stayed with Sheila and her husband Bill years ago when I did my summer service project in Hilton Head. Such a nice (and funny) lady. So fun to have a reunion on the docks!
