Maggie is 2 and Declan is 4! They are both at such fun ages. They've really become little buds. With big brother Liam off at kindergarten and playing various sports, these two spend a lot of time together and they get along really well.
Declan loves Star Wars, building, and making "set ups." He usually constructs something out of magna tiles, and then sets up lots of little Star Wars figures and some lego ships around it. Liam and Dec work on a lot of set ups together, and they are also still really into spying and pretending to be one Jedi or another. Dec likes to give the assignments. My car is usually the Millennium Falcon. Light sabers (real or fashioned out of random sticks or plastic things) are involved in about 90% of our play. Dec's still loving school, especially his teacher Mrs. Maloney and his best friend Kitty, and he's excited about starting soccer again, mostly because I'm his coach. ;) He's a bit of a mama's boy, but he's still our book-loving, sweet and funny guy with a heavy dose of a salty side. :)
Maggie is generally into whatever the boys are into, and since they are into Star Wars, she is too. She is also now into "Let It Go." We're not sure she realizes the song is part of a movie. Among her other loves are Baby Nora, Declan's scooter (which she really wishes was hers), tigers, and Daddy - she is definitely a Daddy's girl. Maggie is downright hilarious most of the time. She is so curious about everything. She talks and sings non-stop and is generally cracks all of us up with her constant commentary and questions. She wants to do everything the boys do and is completely fearless.

We had so much fun celebrating their birthdays with a joint party at DU gymnastics! The party was on D's actual birthday. So fun to celebrate with our friends!

Maggie woke up on her birthday and decided to put on Liam's cleats. "I play soccer, Mom?"
Then we had a Mom and Maggs birthday outing to the aquarium.
And had ice cream for lunch!
We call her false start, because every time she races the boys, she starts early. Same with the candles - blew them out halfway through the song!
