January!

January started out with a sleepover for the kids and a date day and night for mom and dad. Hiking, dinner, Nuggets game - so fun! Thanks Babcia and Grandpa!
Oh, and this selfie taken by John Elway's biggest fan.
Look who graduated from puppy school!  Go, Rosie!
A fun trip to museum with the kids and Liam's buddy Tyler.

True fans despite the Bronco's loss.
Maggie and I visited Dad at work for a lunch date. Maggie loved the eagle totem pole in the library.
Daddy's big girl!
Winter pool park time!
Annual trip to the stock show and the petting zoo. Liam is not a fan of farm animals.
But we called Dec the goat whisperer. He literally fed all of the animals all three Madden kids worth of feed. He has the touch.
And the aggressive goat petter.

Not even happy on the pony ride?  That's okay - the other two chickened out.
Hanging by the chicken coop with Kitty.
We also went to our first rodeo!  I wouldn't say it was anyone's favorite, except maybe Maggie, who liked all of the clapping. I'm not crazy about the animal treatment (grown men puffing their chests about roping a calf - a baby! Why?), and Liam and Dec weren't huge fans, so we'll probably stick to petting zoos and unhappy pony rides in the future. Liam was Marvelous Me in Kindergarten that week, so he got to bring the class's honey bear for a photo op.
We then went to the kids' favorite, Red Robin, for dinner and saw the Rosses there, so Liam and Charlotte had another photo op with honey bear!
I can't get enough of the toddler bod.
This personifies toddler for me - ketchup on her face, chubby legs, goofball.
Another trip to the museum and some fun with the mastodon!
5 seconds after this picture was taken Maggie fell off the rocks. February photos will probably demonstrate the her face took the brunt of it. Ouch.

We love hand me downs, especially when they're this much fun!
