Snow Day!

We had a major snow day in Denver on Friday, February 3rd.  It provided for much fun at home, both inside and outside. Lots of shoveling (for Dad), but lots of playing too.

First, some early morning painting while we wait for it to warm up.

Serious artists.

All legitimate artists work in their undies.

Out to work!

The shovelers take a break for a pose.

All business.

Dec got his workout in by climbing stairs.

Dec joins the fun outside.

Snow football action shot!

We have at least one photo a year of May with a snow beard.

Dec rides in style.

Trying on our skis in preparation for our trip to Vail the next day!

Liam said it would be good to try them out on the "little mountains" - aka mounds of snow - in our front yard.

Hot chocolate break!

Back out on the afternoon. Dec poses in the front yard mountain.

Snow baby!

A video of "skiing" down the driveway.
