50 Ways to...

A glimpse into our world... In addition to asking "why" one hundred times a day, Liam is really into rhyming. Therefore, it is with great pleasure that he discovered the Paul Simon song "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover." We listen to it over and over and over and over again. "Make a new plan, Stan" and "Hop on the bus, Gus" are our favorites, but he knows all of the lines and loves to sing them. We also love making up rhymes for our friends' names (with Mom's help, of course). Climb Mt. McKinley, Finley, call your mommy, Tommy, brush your hair, Claire, don't write on the wall, Paul, that was a whammy, Sammy. We have endless fun.

We want to say a big congratulations to the Godleys! First we celebrated Claire's 2nd birthday, and we are so happy that they welcomed a healthy baby boy to their family. Yippee for Duncan Charles Godley!
Happy Birthday, Claire!
Liam was happy to indulge in the cupcakes.
Welcome to the world, Duncan.
The dads and their kiddos.

Liam just wrapped up his school year in the toddler room at the JCC. We capped off a great year with a class trip to the zoo and another week of silly themes.
Jim, Finley, and Liam enjoyed the wild zoo train ride while Mom hung with Dec and Lucy.
An enthusiastic tiger for Animal Day.
This tiger shows off his lizard. Meet James.

Some miscellaneous shots...
Brothers
Declan likes to hang out in Babcia's sink while she's working in the kitchen.
Dec looks a little gangsta at the Rockies game.
Declan shows off his first tooth! Everything goes in his mouth - fingers, toys, and yes, even toes.
He also is doing a good job of sitting like a big boy!
He still likes the view from his tummy.
Brothers looking slightly confused.
The Madden dudes.
Popsicle time!
Dec says popsicle, schmopsicle. He prefers his fingers.
Happy guy.
Choo choo train! Mom is the caboose.

And a couple of videos...
Our future rocker doing his version of the ABCs. Please ignore Mom's obnoxious yeah at the end.

The little man loves peek-a-boo.
