Boy Farmer

Considering my love of animals and all things farm-related, Mom and Dad were excited to take me to the National Western Stock Show when it came into town. OK, to say they were excited to go to the stock show may not exactly be true, but they were excited to see my reaction to the animals and I did not disappoint. I love playing with my barn and tractors at home, and I especially like playing with and bossing around my two "man farmers," my "lady farmer," and my "boy farmer" and making them help out on the farm. At the stock show, I was deemed Boy Farmer for the rest of the day. I rode tractors, petted goats, sheep, and pigs, and watched the horses and cows. I loved it!

Oh no! The petting zoo is not open yet. I get up close to whisper to them that I, Boy Farmer, will be visiting them soon.
We're in! I pet a goat. I later yelled at this goat's friend when I thought he was being too aggressive when I was offering them some food. No, no, goat!
Good goat.
This is the baa baa black sheep that I like to sing about.

The other big news of the past few weeks is that I have moved into a big boy bed. I have a choo choo train quilt and the best part is mom and dad now get in bed with me to read books. I made the transition like a champ and have already learned to get out of my bed and open my bedroom door. Great, say Mom and Dad. Choo choo!

Mom reads to me on the first night in my bed.
